Our professional welding operations have both direct, and indirect benefits to our customers.  Our department leads work directly with engineering to produce 100% internally developed fixtures, including fixtures that support nearly 300-welds in a single program on our 5-axis robotic welder.  We have formal certification and training processes for our welders that ensure they continue to develop and grow in their careers with UMI, as well as ensuring we maintain the knowledge base of our highly experienced welders.  Ongoing development of our welding processes and employees will never cease to be key to our success at UMI.  Welding is where our precision piece parts, become a physical representation of engineering drawings.
