At UMI our assembly department, we believe, is unique.  This is not simply the end of the production line for us.  Rather, this production department is an active participant in the manufacturing process. When staffing assembly at UMI, we require individuals we believe can communicate effectively, and work well with others.  Our assemblers, beyond being highly skilled in mechanical assembly, are expected to be a meaningful part of the feedback loop for manufacturing.  If your metal fabricated parts need assembly for completion, we believe it is important for you to consider UMI.
